It all started with a simple task: throw the ultimate Harry Potter-themed birthday party for my daughter. Surely someone, somewhere, had faced this exact crisis before. Nope. Nada. Zip. The internet had failed me.

So, I did what any DIY-loving dad would do: I fired up Fusion 360 and designed a cryptex myself. It’s not just a cryptex, it’s the cryptex—a magical puzzle box that looks like it rolled out of Ollivanders’ backroom. Unlocking it requires more than a quick Alohomora; you’d better brush up on your spell motions and know your runes. Perfect for keeping any wannabe Death Eaters or curious kids from casually swiping your wand.
